On Saturday President Trump headlined a powerful rally in Valdosta, GA ahead of the January senate runoff elections in the swing state. Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are representing the GOP in these critical races and appeared on stage with President Trump during the high-energy rally. These two congressional seats will determine the balance of power in the US Senate and will be the only firewall Republicans have if the 2020 presidential election is awarded to former Vice-President, Joe Biden.

After an introduction by First Lady Melania Trump, President Trump took the stage and called the upcoming Georgia election “the most important congressional runoff probably in American history.” Adding to the sense of urgency, President Trump drilled down the importance of making sure that Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, “knows what he is doing”, and pointed out that the state’s governor, Brian Kemp, “needs to get a lot tougher.” These comments come as troubling security camera video from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia has surfaced recently. The recordings appear to show suitcases full of ballots being pulled out from under a tablecloth after Fulton County declared that they would stop counting ballots due to a burst pipe at the arena on election night.

President Trump described Democrat candidates for senate John Ossoff and Raphael Warnock as “radical,” adding that they may be the “most extreme Senate candidates” our country has ever seen. Trump told the Valdosta crowd to contemplate that our country’s future will essentially be determined in Georgia in just a few weeks, during the January 5th runoff, while encouraging them to get out and vote in this critical contest. He further cautioned that these two U.S. Senate seats will determine whether our country will be able to resist a seemingly sharp turn toward socialism, asserting that if the GOP loses the runoff election, America will become a “one-party socialist country.”

Trump then presented some of the mounting evidence recently uncovered that seems to indicate that election integrity was severely eroded during the 2020 presidential election. He emphasized the importance of having “people with courage do what they need to do.” The President mentioned several data points that he feels show he handily won the presidential election, such as receiving a 26% share of non-white votes: the highest for a GOP presidential candidate since 1960. Additionally, Trump mentioned he won 18 of 19 bellwether states and received well over 90% of the Republican primary votes, while no incumbent president has ever lost re-election after winning 75% of votes during the primaries. The large, enthusiastic crowd erupted into chants of “Fight for Trump” multiple times during the rally.

The President teased a potential 2024 Presidential run if Joe Biden makes it to the White House. He stated that “if I lost, I would be a gracious loser,” joking that he would go to Florida and relax before possibly launching a 2024 presidential campaign. He seemed hopeful of the possibility that Republicans will take back the House of Representatives during the 2022 midterm elections as well. President Trump ended the rally with his viral YMCA dance and seemed joyous and confident as he interacted with the crowd, alongside the First Lady. If he lost the election, as most of the mainstream media is claiming, he is showing no signs of a man that has been defeated. Quite the opposite: President Trump’s spirit and enthusiasm do not seem to have fizzled one bit, and he appears poised to take on any challenges coming his way.
