Since President Trump fought and beat COVID-19, he has held a total of 13 rallies. Of those rallies, 167,000 people attended in total. 25% of attendees were new voters, and 30% were not registered Republicans according the Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner.
According to data posted by the RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniels, it seems President Trump is building a new base of supporters contradictory to the media reports that he is only communicating with his core constituency.
Based on this report, one quarter of these voters did NOT vote in 2016, and a third weren’t even Republican.
“For example, at Trump’s Oct. 17 stop in Janesville, Wisconsin, McDaniel said that 47.5% of the 13,850 said they were not Republicans.”
Trump’s first campaign stop following his COVID-19 recovery, 24.4% of attendees did not vote in 2016, and 31.8% were not Republicans. 16.3% were Democrats. Astonishing.
Here are some more tweets from the RNC Chairwoman confirming high turnouts of Democrats, and people who did not vote in 2016.
