The Left tends to promote the narrative that no one is pro-abortion. Unfortunately, the release of a video game proves this claim to be demonstrably false.
A pro-abortion group based in Argentina drastically modified the objective of a “90’s DOOM game.”
According to RedState, in the original game, players were tasked with “beating demons on Mars as a space marine.” The modified version is much more heinous and grotesque.
The new game, according to RedState, is named “DOOM Fetito,” which translates to “Little Fetus DOOM.” In this game, players must kill pro-life women, police officers, and Catholic priests. Once the player has successfully made it past those three groups, the player must kill a gigantic fetus by shooting it repeatedly with a shotgun.
RedState‘s senior editor, Brandon Morse, tweeted a video of a person playing the game.
“A pro-abortion group in Argentina made a 90’s DOOM mod where you kill pro-life women, Catholic priests, and police so you can shoot a fetus with a shotgun,” the tweet read. “In case you were wondering how sick the pro-abortion community has gotten.”
Upon completion of the game, a message is displayed encouraging players to “defeat” unborn children in the real life.
The website for “DOOM Fetito” provides an explanation of the game’s inspiration, and describes the current ongoing battle over abortion in Argentina:
At the moment abortion is a grey legal area in Argentina. Abortions can only be performed if the pregnancy can harm the health of the parent or in the case of rape. If you are pregnant in Argentina and wish to have an abortion, you risk facing jail time. If the procedure isn’t done properly you risk getting injured or even dying. Tons of women die every year in Argentina because abortion isn’t legal in all cases. Since this sucks, feminism has been pushing for legal abortion in all cases since forever and has been ignored until recently. S*** got weird. No, seriously. I can’t stress this enough. S*** GOT WEIRD.
The site goes on to say that on March 25, Argentinian conservatives organized a protest for the pro-life cause. The site described them as Catholics and “actual neo-nazis,” who carried around a giant fetus, according to RedState.
The fetus at the protest is strikingly similar in both its appearance and its position as the fetus featured in the video game.
