[Opinion] The level of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s psychotic reaction to President Trump’s announcement that he was moving forward with naming a successor to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, belies a new level of desperation from the Speaker and the establishment elites she represents.
Following the death of Justice Ginsburg, Speaker Pelosi refused to rule out impeaching President Trump to block the confirmation of his nominee to replace the liberal icon.
During an interview with George Stephanopoulos, on ABC News’ This Week, Pelosi said:
“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country.”
What I think the Speaker means is that she will not sit by while President Trump continues dismantling the globalist construct and replaces it with a government that works to enrich and protect the American people, and not the failed and corrupt establishment elites and their sponsors in the CCP.
Interestingly, Pelosi’s response after then-President Barack Obama nominated judge Merrick Garland to replace Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016 was supportive of the then president. Nor did any Republican attack Obama with impeachment.
Pelosi’s argument, if she has one at all -she doesn’t – is with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who blocked Garland from receiving a hearing and who has promised to advance President Trump’s nominee. Hopefully Mitch will act as quickly as possible in light of the virtual certainty that a contested election will require the court’s intervention.

The fact is, elections have consequences, and voters gave power to the Republicans in the Senate and the White House…
Obama knew that he was eating his own words:
During a visit with Fox and Friends this morning President Trump said he welcomed the threat of impeachment because he thinks it would guarantee his reelection. The view from here is that that level of prosecutorial abuse of oversight power by House Democrats would be viewed by voters as a gross overreach of the House’s enumerated rights.
The president told his hosts:
“I heard if I [nominate], they’re going to impeach me.”
“So they’re impeaching me for doing what constitutionally I have to do. If they do that, we win all elections.”
“I think we’ll win the entire election. I think we’re going to win back the House, I think we’re going to win the House anyway.”
It is one of the great joys in life to see President Trump out maneuver the swamp, day in and day out. Are you sick of winning yet? Me either!
