How is it that Joe Biden's gun agenda has seemingly gone unnoticed? The media knows it's a losing issue.
I have been doing my morning routine of catching up on yesterday’s biggest stories, and some stories that have broken over night. I was watching Steven Crowder on “Morning Mugclub”. A lot of times they focus on some of the same current events, and hot button issues that we cover on RF Angle.
One topic that really caught my attention was Joe Biden’s gun policy, and the lack of coverage that it has been receiving. Some of the things that were being discussed came across as, “that couldn’t possibly be true.” Even though they were pulling them straight from Biden’s “Gun Safety” portion of his website. Of course I had to see for myself. Below are some of the highlights:
Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities. Biden will also institute a program to buy back weapons of war currently on our streets. This will give individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act.
“Get weapons of war off our streets” Sub Section 3
Under a Biden/Harris administration you are now a criminal if you don’t turn over your gun, or register with the government that they deem illegal. The phrase “weapon of war” has always been used to lump together any guns the left wants to outlaw. I always find it very ironic using the phrase “gun buy back” when you didn’t purchase the gun from the government in the first place.
End the online sale of firearms and ammunitions. Biden will enact legislation to prohibit all online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits, and gun parts.
“Get weapons of war off our streets” Sub Section 4
This policy would completely end any type of gun related sale over the internet. If you live in a rural community or in an inner city and don’t have access to a gun shop; I guess you’re just completely out of luck. This would leave a lot of people defenseless that currently don’t have access to a weapon for home protection.
Hold adults accountable for giving minors access to firearms. Biden supports legislation holding adults criminally and civilly liable for directly or negligently giving a minor access to a firearm, regardless of whether the minor actually gains possession of the firearm.
“Make sure firearm owners take on the responsibility of ensuring their weapons are used safely” Sub Section 2
Any adult in any home in America that has a hand gun in a nightstand or high up on a shelf could/would now be charged. Even if you don’t have child, but have a friend with a child that visits you, the government could charge you civilly or criminally.
These are only some of the highlights of his plan which I encourage everyone to check out for themselves. The links that the Biden “Gun Safety” page rely upon are from the “March for our Lives” (David Hogg’s group) and the Giffords Law Center. These are the groups that are in Joe Biden’s ear, and would be dictating gun policy if he wins the upcoming election.
We also can’t forget that Joe Biden said ‘I’m coming for’ as he addressed Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke’s wife, implying ‘Beto’ would have a part in deciding gun policy should Biden be elected.
The pandemic and the racial unrest have led to a record level of gun buying in the U.S. According to the Washington Post, between March and June there were 3 million firearms sold. Breitbart reports, nearly 5 million first time gun buyers in 2020.
Even though sales have been climbing throughout the year, there has not been much, if any talk about this crucial issue during any of the debates. The moderators have asked about climate change multiple times, but not about Joe Biden’s position on the 2nd Amendment. They know that Biden’s radical stance on gun policy would turn off most of these first time gun buyers in swing states.
Many Americans are taking notice during these times of unrest, ultimately, the protecting of your home and family are up to you.
