According to AFP, "Missouri senator Josh Hawley claimed on Twitter that “Antifa scumbags” vandalized his DC area home, threatened his wife and baby, and attempted to pound open the door. This is false; local police said demonstrators did gather in front of the Republican’s residence to protest his refusal to accept the 2020 presidential election results, but footage of the event shows they only chanted slogans and left a constitution on the doorstep and chalk drawings on the sidewalk." According to the Daily Wire, last Monday Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) in a tweet said that Antifa attacked him at his DC home and threatened his wife and newborn baby.
In response to this he said on Twitter, “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by left-wing violence”.

And according to the Washington Examiner, a group named ShutdownDC had on their website that uses strategies similar to what Antifa uses, on their website it says that it “uses strategic direct action to advance justice and hold officials accountable”. Later on they went and said “We came to let Hawley know that his actions are undemocratic and unacceptable”.
The group outside Hawley’s home said that they were hosting an hour-long “vigil” outside his home which the senator took to Twitter to tell what actually happened.
Now “vigil” means screaming threats through bullhorns, vandalizing property, pounding on the doors of homes and terrorizing innocent people and children https://t.co/naRMkrBWWO

Videos were posted on Twitter about the incident and they show upset neighbors approaching the rioters and one of the demonstrators using a bullhorn shouting at the house and attempting to enter the residence.
