Black Hammer, a Colorado-based communist organization, has allegedly acquired 200 acres of land to establish a “colonized people only” commune and is currently raising funds to help build earthbag homes and waste management systems.
In their mission statement, they state that they “…are focused on building dual contending power of and for the colonized masses. Under the leadership of the colonized poor and working class, our mission is to use our collective building power to unite, strengthen and liberate all colonized nations.”
Unlike most far-left groups Black Hammer has gone after other left-wing extremist groups like Antifa for “attacking the black and brown community”
They have also made many controversial statements about Anne Frank and Jewish people as a whole.
Earlier this week they received backlash after they made a post suggesting that they would use copies of The Diary of Anne Frank as firewood.
In response to a tweet from StopAntisemitism.org Black Hammer stated “For the last time, we unite with colonized Jews, not colonizers! Her father was literally involved in the killing of colonized people, like what is wrong with y’all??”
When one attempts to join the group by clicking a “Join Now” button on their website you are brought to the group’s joinit.org page which exclaims “**MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO JOIN** NO WHITES ALLOWED: Membership in the Black Hammer Organization is exclusive to colonized people only.”

In a statement given to Fox News, Black Hammer’s General Secretary Anco Nahuel stood by the previous remarks and declared “We are staunchly anti white and believe all white people have benefited from colonialism. We aim to expose how white Jewish (vs say Ethiopian Jews) people despite their historical oppression currently participate in colonialism. (Palestine, Harlem, etc). We have no respect for our oppressors and all jokes and insults are 100% okay for the oppressed to use against their oppressor as they do not prevent the right to self determination.”
Although the group has distanced themselves from both the left and the right with their polarizing takes, it appears they still have a lot of support as they have raised $64,000 on their “Build Hammer City” GoFundMe.
