According to emails obtained by the New York Post, Hunter Biden setup a meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden and a top executive of a Ukrainian energy firm – less than one year before VP Biden pressed government officials in Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating the company.
This was revealed in an appreciation email sent on April 17th, 2015 from Vadym Pozharskyi (Burisma board member) to Hunter Biden, who would eventually join the board of directors for Burisma a year later.
Earlier emails suggest that Vadym was attempting to use Hunter’s influence on the company’s behalf.
This evidence proves that Vice President Biden lied when he stated that he’d “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
The emails were extracted from a laptop believed to be Hunter Biden’s, although that has not been confirmed.
Less than 8 months after Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for the VP introduction, Joe Biden admittedly pressured Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk into getting rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee during a December 2015 trip to Kiev.
Viktor Shokin said at the time of his firing in 2016 that he had “specific plans” to investigate Burisma, including Hunter Biden.
Vice President Biden has repeatedly ignored these claims, stating that he wanted Shokin removed over corruption claims.
An email dated May 12th, 2014 shows that Pozharskyi was attempting to get Hunter Biden to use his political leverage to help the company. The email is titled “Urgent Issue”
According to the New York Post, “N.Z” appears to be a reference to the founder of Burisma Mykola Zlochevsky.
“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,” he added.
This evidence alludes that not only did Joe Biden know about Hunter’s foreign business deals, he may have also directly assisted in pulling pressure off of Burisma by means of having the prosecutor fired.
We have been right all along.
