A group of teens were caught on camera in downtown Manhattan attacking a 36 year old man driving his 2019 BMW SUV in the area of Fifth Avenue and 21st Street in the middle of broad daylight.
According to a Twitter video obtained by Fox News from the Twitter account NY Actions , a group of NYC teenagers drop their bikes in the middle of the road and begin to attack the man inside his car and smash his car. The driver who has not been identified by NYPD, has told police officials that he has stopped at the intersection in the area to allow the bikers to pass him.
In a separate Twitter video obtained by Dr. Daniel J. Winarick, there is a different angle of the attack, but this one shows the teens repeatedly taking turns beating on the side of the car.
NYPD released a statement to Fox that they have received a call around 4 p.m. about an attack around Fifth Avenue and 21st Street, and the victim said that the attackers came in direct contact with his car and fled the scene after police were notified, and he refused medical treatment.
The motives of the attack are still unknown and the driver still remains unidentified.
