Democratic candidates John Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are locked in a tight race with incumbent Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.
With 83% of the vote in, Perdue and Loeffler hold slim leads over Ossoff and Warnock respectively.
Perdue is ahead of Ossoff by 2.6%. He has reeled in 1,873,283 to Ossoff’s 1,780,508. Meanwhile, Loeffler is up 1.8%, leading Warnock 1,858,402 to 1,794,826.
With that being said, there are still a ton of outstanding votes remaining to be counted.
DeKalb County, which is typically a Democratic stronghold, has only reported 35% of the vote so far. This is currently the largest remaining outstanding vote total. DeKalb is just to the east of Atlanta.
According to Fox News’ Peter Doocy and Pat Ward, Loeffler will make remarks regarding the election around 11 P.M.
